Three's a charm.. or a charmer!

The third is definitely a charmer. Avery has everyone in our home taken with her. Abby & Lanie can't get enough of their little sister. They are so cute with her. Lanie is the defender/protector... she makes sure everyone has hand sanitizer before they get to hold her. Abby is great at holding her and singing to her to calm her down. It's amazing to see the amount of love all of us have for this little bundle that just arrived. It's only been 3 wks but it feels like she's been with us forever already.

I've got great friends with great cameras that took the photos below. Thanks Shawnna & Julie for capturing these for us. Shawnna took the newborn photos on Saturday & Julie took the maternity shots the day before Avery was born ... March 18th.

A New Life Begins

Things are changing in our household. A new baby girl is about to turn our lives upside down.... again. There are two other little girls anxiously awaiting her arrival. They ask me each day when she will be here to play with them. What a blessing it is to have this addition. I've created this new blog in an effort to prepare to display all the changes in our family to come.

I'm sitting here early in the morning cause I feel the beginnings of labor... coming and going and they've wakened me from my sleep.... so as a distraction to the dull pain I am trying to do things to finish preparations for her birth. So creating this new blog isn't the highest on the priority list, but it's what I can do while everyone sleeps.

This baby is due March 27th but it looks like she will be early. She better be because I don't want to feel this way for another 2 wks. I have plenty of pics to add and can't wait to share... but not this morning. = ) We have a friend scheduled to come by later this afternoon to take photos of our little family with the baby bump if I can make it. I think I will. The contractions are going away. =)

so... by the way... did you know ARROYO means "Little Stream" in spanish?
